eklipse - search engine for solar eclipses in the 21th century
==============================================================

eklipse is search engine that lets you search through a database of solar eclipses happening in the 21th century.
The repo also has the database file which has around 1300 records. The data was scraped from wikipedia.

The first "Initial commit" of this project happened on:

    2017-08-21 20:19

Requirements
------------
    - python3
    - sqlite3
    - python-pip

The requirements.txt file holds the libraries used in this project. To install them
run:

    pip install -r requirements.txt

Running
-------
Running the server:

    flask run

This should start running (usually) on:

    localhost:5000

On the root route, you will see the front-end which gives you a search box where you can enter a geo location. After entering it, you can query the database by
hitting <enter>. A script takes the input and passes it to /query/<input>, if a result has been found, the route should return JSON with the data and will be
served on the front-end.
